Adele Ne Jame has lived in Hawaii since 1969.
She teaches poetry and writing at Hawaii Pacific University and has three books of poems published, her newest a chapbook of poems published by the UAE Sharjah International Biennial 2009 printed side by side in English and Arabic. She is the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts grant in poetry and served previously as the Poet-in-Residence
at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
